About This Grant
Millions of people around the globe are suffering with disabilities and impairments in mobility, vision, hearing and speech which makes it impossible for them to get equitable opportunities in classrooms, workplaces and society in general. We aim to support and empower startups creating solutions for the disabled, thereby creating measurable impact in their learning and earning potential. Focus Areas: Saksham is an accelerator program dedicated to supporting startups developing innovative assistive tech. Its primary goal is to empower these startups in creating solutions that positively impact the lives of people with disabilities. Through mentorship, funding opportunities, and a strong network, Saksham helps drive innovation and social change in this crucial sector. This program aims to support assistive technology startups who have demonstrated practical application of their product through prototype development or have shown promise in identifying and solving real-world problems for the disabled especially the ones who are socially disadvantaged. 1. Startups with a prototype or minimum viable product in Assistive Technology. 2. Startups dealing with impairments in mobility, vision, hearing or speech. 3. Startups registered in India, building for India and the world’s disability issues. Program Offerings: 1. Product Strategy & GTM : Guidance and expertise in developing product strategies and executing Go-to-Market (GTM) plans. 2. Sales Support : Assistance and resources to boost sales efforts and strategies to sell to Corporates, NGOs and customers directly. 3. Product/ Engineering Support: Technical assistance and expertise in product development and engineering. 4. Access to Mentors : Access to experienced professionals for guidance and support in various aspects of entrepreneurship. 5. Grant Support: Financial assistance is provided to startups for their projects or business development. 6. Regulatory Support : Assistance and guidance in navigating legal and regulatory requirements for compliance. 7. Access to Assistive Tech Ecosystem (Networking) : Opportunities to connect and collaborate within the assistive tech community, fostering networking and partnerships. 8. Access to funds : Funding Opportunities for startup growth and development
